The Junkluggers of Greater Santa Clarita Valley is honored to partner with a network of charities in our community to serve our number one goal- to keep useful items out of landfills.

Our mission is to enhance lives, our communities, and the environment by donating, repurposing, recycling, and supporting local charities. Not only are your items going to a great cause, but you are also benefiting in the form of a tax-deductible receipt for items we are able to donate on your behalf. Assistance League of Santa Clarita
Assistance League Santa Clarita provides over 33,000 hours of community service each year and touches the lives of over 3,500 people in our valley. We provide new school clothes for students, we cook meals for convalescent home residents, we provide teddy bears to people in traumatic situations, we play games with school children in an after school program and we help students see better with new eyeglasses.
Blue Star Ranch
Blue Star Ranch is an equine-assisted safety-net provider for mental health services with internationally recognized certification. The horses help veterans overcome known barriers to engaging and staying in treatment. They can help families in post deployment transition build resilience. The ranch was founded by Nancy and John Zhe. Nancy spent 27 years designing equine therapy programs for children and adults with various life challenges i.e.; disabled children and adults, at-risk youth, recovering coma patients, recovering cancer patients, senior citizens, and so forth. John served two tours in Vietnam and knows first hand how difficult the adjustment is when soldiers return home. Nancy and John met in 2006, married in 2008, and founded Blue Star Ranch in 2014. They are joined by a wonderful staff, advisory board, and simply unique equine therapists.
Bridge To Home
Bridge to Home, a non-profit 501 (c )(3) corporation EIN 95-4587823, offers help for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in the Santa Clarita Valley. Services are provided by experienced social service professionals and housing navigators in our Homeless Services Access Center and in the Drayton Street shelter. With space for 60 residents, the shelter is open 365/24/7. Staff and volunteers help our homeless neighbors access and retain housing by addressing the conditions and causes of homelessness. BTH served 1,040 individuals and housed 88 individuals and households in 2018-19. Bridge to Home is funded through government contracts, grants from private foundations, and generous donations from individuals and businesses in the local community. The BTH operating budget for 2019 - 2020 is $2.5M. Bridge to Home (BTH) is governed by an all-volunteer Santa Clarita Valley Board of Directors, with experience in finance, law, health care, mental health, community service, business, education, public service, and more. Nine committees provide support the through oversight of policy and outcomes
Goodwill is dedicated to enhancing the dignity and quality of life of families and individuals by eliminating barriers to opportunity and strengthening communities. They also work to help people reach their full potential by teaching them the power of work. You will spot our bright green trucks making regular donations.
Joni and Friends
Joni and Friends is built on Biblical truth and the foundation of Jesus Christ. Since 1979, we've been advancing disability ministry and changing the church and communities around the world. The Joni and Friends International Disability Center (IDC) serves as the administrative center for ministry programs and locations across the United States which provide outreach to thousands of families impacted by disability around the globe.
The Salvation Army of the Santa Clarita Valley
The Salvation Army of the Santa Clarita Valley is a division of the 150-plus-year-old charitable organization. The Junkluggers primarily work with the Salvation Army Family Stores, which form the core of their Adult Rehabilitation Center philosophy, providing quality clothing, furniture, and goods at bargain prices-which in turn supports their mission of employing rehabilitating adults and funding their Adult Centers.
Triumph Foundation
Triumph Foundation's mission is to help children, adults, and Veterans with Spinal Cord Injury/Disorder (SCI) to triumph over their disability and to inspire them to keep moving forward with their lives by pushing themselves to get better every day. Triumph Foundation works to minimize the obstacles that one faces after suffering traumatic injury. Triumph Foundation provides resources, hope and security to people living with paralysis - not just initially when the injury occurs, but as a lifelong support network. Additionally, we hold events that are a captivating force within the entire community. We are the go-to organization for people living with mobility impairments in Southern California.
